The garden is planted
two raised beds (one for strawberries and one for vegetables)
and a rose bush (Morden Belle)
New this year:
The poppies are the first of the perennials to bloom. This particular plant with many buds and flowers is a self-seeder growing on the path beside the garden. Along with the tulips, they add a considerable amount of cheer to the start of the gardening season.
We had some rain yesterday which did the plants a world of good, and today has been sunny and warm.
