Springtime

I took this picture during a visit to the coast.  It was a cool, spring day, sunny but with a brisk wind, and the scarf that I had purchased for such a day felt pleasant against my neck.

On a recent trip to Sun Peaks, B.C.

Deer on hillside making a run for the trees.  The bear must have been
nearby.  The deer and bear were often seen together.

This Black Bear came out to graze at the same time
every morning and evening.

Returning from a walk,
we saw this cute chipmunk eating dandelion seed.

The ground squirrels were very entertaining,
and we could observe them through the windows.

I saw this pretty yellow flower in an historic cemetery (from the days of the Cariboo Gold Rush) that I visited last July, but I don't know what it's called. It may be that someone planted it there, or possibly, it is one of the many wild flowers that grow among the grave sites.
