(The flowers, photographed in July, are from my garden.)Today is World Rivers Day! My favourite place to view the beautiful Nechako River is at Riverside Park in Vanderhoof.
This photo was taken at the end of August when we had family visiting from Ontario. After playing on the swings and slides, my granddaughters wanted to see the river, and later they tried skipping stones.
More recently on a cool, blustery, exhilarating autumn day, my husband and I enjoyed this view.
